Hellerwork is a combined holistic bodywork therapy designed to help people relieve their bodies of pain, stress, postural and structural imbalances, and many other effects of body dis-ease. Hellerwork also seeks to help you gain a greater sense of what it is like to be in a body that is fluid and a pleasure to live in by helping you examine and embrace the way your body is a reflection of who you are in the world.

To achieve these dynamic results Hellerwork uses a combination of 3 different techniques.

Deep-tissue Myofascial Bodywork:

Relieving pain, stress, and tension by working your soft-tissue, thereby rejuvenating and re-balancing your body.

Movement Awareness and Education:

Learn and discover how you use your body and experience the pleasure a free and balanced body offers.

Dialogue:

Explore the potential of your being and seek to get the most out of your life.

Hellerwork is based on the assumption that every person is innately healthy. Your results are maximized by creating a deeper experience of the integrity in your body, your movement, and in your relationship with yourself and the world around you.

In general clients report feeling a sense of lightness, length, and well being upon completion of a session. The release and rebalancing of your structure will continue between sessions. Your body continues to integrate your newfound awareness, new relationship with gravity, new way of being and new sense of “excellence with ease”.

Body specific sessions

Individual sessions aimed at treating a specific ailment, or to receive deep-tissue bodywork on specific areas of the body. These sessions are fantastic at relieving all types of pain and dysfunction as well as creating a more fluid bodily experience.

Bodyspark Series

The second and most beneficial option is to work through a series of 11 x 90 minute sessions that take the client through the process of freeing and rediscovering their entire body. Each session consists of about 70 minutes of bodywork and 15-20 minutes of movement exploration. However, it is important to stress that each session will differ from client to client so this is only a general guideline.
